‘To my Husband’ Valentine’s Day card with fused glass forever keepsake. Sparkling ruby mica heart encapsulated within glass. Handmade in the UK using recycled card. 
Inside is blank, unless you would like me to print your message and insert it. 
I start by printing my design with message on locally sources recycled paper. I hand cut each one and apply it to the front of the recycled kraft card. 
The hole at the top is punched in, again each one is done by hand, waiting for the handmade fused glass keepsake to be applied. 
To make the fused glass keepsake I use templates to create the shapes within the glass, and for this one I have  an heart which I sprinkle mica over. Its placed between layers of glass before I carefully place it into the kiln and fire it at 810 degree. Each piece sits in the kiln for around 30 hours and as they are handmade, each one may be slightly different.

13.5cm x 13.5m card which is 300gsm, with 4cm x 4cm fused glass hanger.
